About Project

The Common Values Movement Project implemented by IDEMA under the leadership of Dogan Holding. The project was launched on 25th May 2017 in the pilot cities including İstanbul, İzmir, Adana and Van. The project aims to create a positive social dialogue on the existing Turkish common values as a society in hopes of creating a social bridge in a polarized society. For this purpose, IDEMA has designed a board game that encourages program participants to discover mutual social values through non-formal game play.

Through workshops in Istanbul, Izmir, Van and Adana, IDEMA has gathered participants from different backgrounds and social groups to come together to initiate a mutual dialogue through the board game and reached 434 women and young persons.

Additionally, the board game , Değer Taşı, has reached more than 5000 people in 20 cities for 2018.

Besides, a grant scheme was developed by IDEMA under the support of Dogan Holding and 7 local projects from İstanbul, Şırnak, Balıkesir and İzmir were granted from the Common Values Support Grant Scheme

Common Values Movement

‘’With the "Common Values Movement", we say that we will explore our commonalities and walk together into the future. Our point of departure is this: our common values are much more than our differences. As we take care of our partnerships, we can also see our differences as wealth and meet in the dream of a common Turkey.
