About Project

In partnership with MDF West Africa, we are participating in conducting a Needs Assessment to inform the World Bank for rolling out of economic inclusion programming in urban areas in Ghana. This study aims to provide input when tailoring operational approaches and evidence-based solutions to support Ghana’s urban poor. The assignment focuses on urban areas in the five regions most affected by COVID-19, namely Greater Accra Region, Ashanti Region, Western Region, Eastern Region, and Volta Region. The Needs Assessment is expected to be the defining document for providing a comprehensive approach to inform the types of potential beneficiaries, their economic activities, challenges and mitigations for conducting such work in urban areas as well as potential partners needed for such a program to thrive.
